510 pin on JT products and atomisers with long 510

I've read at least 20 threads about people having problems like "no atomiser" after over tightening an atomiser.

It's a problem for several reasons

- Some atomisers 510 are too long

- Youtube videos show people forcefully threading atomisers to get rid of gap and people imitate it.

- Most other mods have an extra 1mm or 2mm extra space.


I often read "JT is good but they still haven't fixed the 510".

Users, like me, are forced to use a spacer. Pre-made like below or made out of a plastic lid because several manufacturers make atomiser pins too long.

How about JT. Make the 510 with an extra 2mm of add a washer to devices sold for " atomisers with overly long 510 that goes against specifications". May as well tell them off for making 510 on atomiser too long. As I understand it, someone at JT made the 510 spec 微笑


Maybe make a page on 510 pin length that is acceptable so average users and reviewers can point to it. It'll be advertising for JT and for the person who made the the spec. It may also give people a chance to call out bad design by referencing the page.

Could you add in a possible upgrade the function for modification time for fire button protection is activated.
Now the the default setting is 10 seconds.
I want to define the time of the fire button less of 10 seconds

Burning mouth/throat

Have had the ego aio for about a week. Everytime I go to first use the device after it hasn't been used for a while it burns my mouth and throat and lacks flavour of the juice. When I say burn I mean burn. There is plenty of mist/vape but it burns everywhere especially on exhale, you're left with a raw feeling croaky throat. I have had friends try it and they describe it as unbearable.

It seems do disappear once the device has warmed up. Then the vape is smooth as a whistle for all.

I have tried everything I can think of to try and prevent this. I have swapped coils ensuring they're primed. I've changed coil from 0.6 ohm to 1.0 ohm. I have tried various juice including nicotine free (currently using 50/50). I have tried giving it priming vapes before using with it switched off. I have tried loosening the cap.

Im thinking it could be caused by the juice not wicking properly? Is this normal for this device any other ideas?

Dual Hissing sound?

Curious... Does anyone else with the VTC dual when you put it up to your ear hear a small hissing noise? I noticed it a while back it's not causing any problem, the device is working perfectly... I'm just curious

After the update last week my VTwo started to act strange. When i press the fire button it either works or just turns off the mod. And in that state if i press the fire button for 5 times it does not turn back on. After i plug the usb in It starts to work again but again if i press the fire button it turns off. When i remove the Atomiser from it and press the fire button to see whats wrong it does not turn off but i get the regular no atomiser message. And also battery is full and I tried it with a differend atomiser. I would be glad if you guys can help me out with this.

Hello all! I am Brian from the US. I've been vaping seriously for about 13 months. All my mods are Joyetech devices with a few atomizers of different brands. I first heard about Joyetech in 2010 when a friend was selling the 510s in a small booth locally. That piqued my interest and I tried various other cig-alikes but was satisfied with none. Last year, I tried an eGO style pen and loved it. Of course, always looking for more enjoyment and fun, I soon started building my selection. My first mod was the eVIC VT 60w kit with the eGO One Mega tank. I loved the VT modes and began learning about e-juice mixes and different combinations of VG and PG. Since then, I have added a couple of RDAs, an RTA, and some Kangertech tanks. Several months ago, I purchased a Cuboid and immediately installed the 200w firmware because I love having the option of making huge clouds in addition to being able to vape all day without having to keep extra batteries with me while at work. A couple of weeks ago, I added an eVic VTwo mini to my collection and I love it! My other toys are an original Twisted Messes RDA, Buddha Zephyr v2 RDA, Youde Bellus RTA, Kanger CLTank and a Kanger Genitank that I switch between my eGO battery and either my eVIC or eVIC VTwo Mini.

I have learned a lot in the past year. I do a lot of my own coil builds (although I do like some of the prebuilt coils available now) and I am seriously considering venturing into mixing my own e-juices. Having an electronics background makes this kind of vaping all the more fun!

Ego Aio not charging

Hello guys, today i bought Ego Aio black with white color. I tried to turn it on but it doesn't react when i try t chard it, it's starts blinking then blue color appears and stands for like 5 seconds please guys help me i just bought it today. Im not very good in English writing so the same problem is for this man.

Resizing Logos with windows operating system

1. Open your logo with paint: right click on image hover pointer over OPEN WITH left click paint
2. left click on resize a new window will popup
3. in this window select Pixels Make sure maintain Aspect Ratio box is unchecked
4. horizontal change to 64
5. Vertical change to 40
These numbers are crucial & must be exact

6. Left click ok
7. Left click options tab left to the home tab & above the paste clipboard
8. hover pointer over save as & left click BMP picture & a new window will popup
9. here you can rename your file & File type. YOU MUST CHANGE FILE TYPE
Change file type to monochrome Bitmap
Left click Save
it should save the logos in the same file folder

Problems with the pro RBA head

I love my cubis and my cubis pro with the premade coils but I decided to try using the pro rba head since I've got a dripping tank as well and I know my way around coiling wicking etc.
I've got these problems:

If I do a horizontal build, the head works great if the tank has a little juice, but when I fill it (and the juice covers the side cotton holes of the head) I get little to no cloud production no matter what the resistance or coil type. If I use it for some time and the juice level drops below the side feeding holes, it goes back to an amazing vape. I've seen the youtube instructions and I know I'm wicking it correctly but it seems the coil somehow gets wet. I tried less cotton, more cotton, same thing happens every time.

If I do a vertical build I don't face this problem, but the vapor and taste are not that good (as with the same coil used horizontally) unless I really ramp up the wattage, and then I get the usual heating problems with the tank :/

Do you have any suggestions especially for the horizontal build? Should I place the coil higher or lower than the feeding holes, should I fit tons of cotton in?

eCom - burnt taste no matter what

Hi,
Yesterday I bought an eCom double pack for €50. There are 2 atomizers in the tanks and 3 spare in the package.
No matter what I do I get burnt taste on higher V/W. However, on lower V/W the performance is not satisfying.
I was told to vape a couple of times without pressing the button or drop a few drops on the atomizer.
What do I do?

Custom logo doesnt show up

Hello,
My current version is 5.04.
I tried couple of 64x40 pxl mono Logo.bmp. No error at all.

But logo doesnt show up on main screen. I see the clock instead.

And yes Logo is ON

Any idea how can i fix this issue ?

I'm having this problem on my Black eVic VTC Mini same problem mentioned in this thread http://social.joyetech.com/showthread.php?tid=360
I doubt I can find any warranty and serial number because it is the one I won here on the social, and I have so many VTC Mini's hehe.
I may have to disassemble the unit and attempt a repair but for now the device is working OK. I charge the batteries in an external charger. I'm just afraid the wires to the USB inside the device may short and cause problems.

Cubis Clapton 1.5 coil not wicking

Hello, my first post on the forum but I have been using Joyetech products for the last couple years.

Recently I decided to stop using my Ego One Mega V2 and pick up an Evic VTwo with a Cubis Pro tank. I like the top fill design and the fact that it does not leak like the ego tanks do.

My problem is that I vape a 1.2 MG nicotine high PG juice. Its very fine and has no problems wicking with the ego coils. I would get between 10 and 14 days out of a 1 ohm CLR ego coil before it would just stop producing flavor. With the Cubis coil I get 3 days tops before it takes like I just lit a cigarette backwards.

Today I decided to open a coil and noticed that most of the cotton was still white while a little of the cotton was burned to the coil. What I do is drip a few drops into the center of the coil, screw it on, fill the tank, flip it up and down a few times, take long hits with no power and let it sit for a bit. When I do this and take the first hit the flavor is awesome and remains this way for a couple of days before starting to change flavor and ultimately burning the cotton.

Is there something else I can do? I am going through coils like crazy and actually just ordered 25 more becuase I am worried about this. If I can't get this figured out I will have to find a other tank.

In the interim, I still have some CLR ego coils and can use that tank. What wattage is safe to vape with those coils?

Problem with the Evic vtwo mini charging

I have been using the Vtwo Mini for a while and was really enjoying it, comparing it to past mods it is superior in its features, build quality, software (updates) and the screen. Although last week it stopped charging through the USB port. I have used various different charging cables and different plugs and it still does not charge. I have also updated the device as it is still recognized by my laptop which has not resolved the problem. I need this device to charge through the charging port as I am unable to carry a battery charger with me when I am not home.

Also I sent an email to the Joyetech technical support and to their service email about this with no reply which i thought was shoddy customer service. 无法决定

So guys I just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone knows how this can be fixed.
