notch coils driving me crazy

Dears

i used the notch coil coming out from cubis pro box and it was working fine
however ,when i replaced it , it's not working properly . i smell the taste of stainless steel when i vape . i added drops in the new coil and gave a couple of hits while mod is closed , but the problem occurred . this is the second replacement coil that i see this symptom
what should i do ?
